A new construction 8’ square master closet with 10’ ceilings provides ample storage for this his and hers walk-in closet. Pull-down closet rods, pull-out pant racks, pull-out shoe racks, dresser, and valet bar take advantage of the vertical space for the lady of the house’s wardrobe. The client requested a simple, large chest of drawers with a closet rod and nothing more. Custom stainless steel shelf brackets make the most of the available space over his closet rod. Lighting on either side of the structural beam provides excellent illumination for items both high and low. An antique cedar chest offers storage as well as a convenient place to sit while putting on or taking off shoes and socks. Collapsible wall hooks provide a convenient location for hanging everyday items. The cedar paneling and shelf were salvaged from the former home for this Built Green project.
