RESIDENTIAL DESIGNER: McCabe by Design
This project was part of a master suite remodel. The homeowners wanted to convert their poorly laid out closet with no ventilation and inadequate lighting into a model of well-lit organization with good ventilation. By reorienting the bathroom and closet 90 degrees, the closet incorporated an existing window that was originally part of the bathroom, checking the box for improved ventilation while introducing natural lighting. A thoughtful layout, taking into consideration the clients specific requests, tripled the storage of the original closet with important amenities such as a place to sit down to put on or take off shoes, linen storage for the adjoining bathroom, directional track lighting and a convenient charging station for PDAs. Additional project attributes include sustainable linoleum flooring, code compliant and energy efficient LED lighting and high durability custom all-wood closet components.
